How do you keep your inground heated pool or spa equipment from freezing in the winter?
I have a gas heater and 3 pumps on a swimspa. All equipment sitting in a fenced enclosure. Can’t keep swim jets pump and two different jacuzzi pumps running all the time.
My pool and spa has a freeze protect circuit. When the ambient temperature reaches 36 degrees the pump turns on and stays on until the temp again rises above 36. It’s worked great in North Texas for 8 years, even when the temps got down into the low teens.
