Did I nearly faint?
Today I went to the gym and did a workout as usual. Then I got in the pool and did laps as usual. I then had a spa, even though it was a hot day and it was hot in the spa. I was in there for about five minutes. When I got out, it’s hard to explain but I felt light headed, and I lost my vision and all I could see was blurry blue. I sat down on the floor and after about 15 seconds my sight came back and after a few minutes I felt fine. Did I nearly faint here? I have never fainted before. Do you think it was because I got too hot – can being too hot cause faints? Thank you
sounds like you were a bit dehydrated. Too hot, your body started to adjust it’s body temp. and cool off your organs, therefore reducing blood flow to your extremities, causing you to have a fainting spell.
