all of a sudden my hot tub has no power?
The breaker tripped a few times , when i used a plug in the garage, i reset the breaker and this time I am getting absolutely no power on the hot tub, not even a power light. The plug works fine, i plugged something else in it. Does anyone know what could have happened?
If you know for a fact that the receptacle works (no tripped GFI), then I would definitely look at the tub.
If your hot tub tripped the breaker a few times, then there is probably something wrong with the tub. Breakers do not normally trip for no good reason. Something usually causes it to trip.
Sorry I can’t help further. I have connected power to many hot tubs, but I am not very familiar with the inner workings of them beyond that point. I have heard of heating elements causing this sort of problem, but you may get a more accurate answer from someone else.
