My dream is bothering me, what could it mean?
Dream – I was brushing my teeth, and I noticed my gums were torn, and 2 of my teeth came out. I was trying to tell my husband, but he wouldn’t listen to me, so I put my 2 teeth on my nightstand. My friends mom called me and said she was selling a part of her townhouse for $70…it was small…but if we wanted something nicer, we would have to pay more. We moved in, and it was really gross. The bathroom was white and bright but the toilet and tub were dirty. The yard was small. I went to see the other houses…and the one next to us was a little bigger and nicer…and the last one, was the nicest…and the backyard lead to a beach. I walked through a tunnel to get to the private beach. It was sunny, and the water was so clear and blue. I looked across the water and there were sky scrapers. The sand was white and soft, and I felt at ease. I went back to the townhouses, and it got gray and cloudy, and started to rain. What could this dream mean?
I agree with the previous response that said losing teeth in your dreams is really common. I’ve read a slightly different take on the “powerless” interpretation though… it’s that we dream of teeth falling out when we’re compromising on something in our waking life, or tolerating something less than desirable. Your dream scenarios all centered around living environments; stepping up gradually from poor to wonderful. Your emotional state is important in that you felt at ease at the last place, and returned to “gray” when you went back. It makes me wonder if you’re literally longing for a little bit of an upgrade in your living arrangements, to something with a few more comforts than whatever you currently have – maybe that’s the compromise you’re living with? Or the living environments could represent the state of something else going on around you that feels like it could use some improvements. Just a thought – hope it helps.
