Leopard Gecko and Sterilite Tubs?
My friend and I have a plan set out to breed and take care of Leopard Geckos. But were not sure what sizes to get sterilite tubs. We want to get them from www.Target.com . It needs to be length first. ( <----->), Were it says supplies we will just put it on the shelves.

Is it possible without falling? If not could you give us something to make shelves out of?
In short, adults can be kept individually in 15qt sterilite containers. Babys can be kept in pairs of 2 (clutch mates) in a 15qt container (until adult age then separated into individual containers). breeding groups such as 1 male to 3-4 females can be kept in a 32-34qt container.
I recommend walmart.com I get ten 15qt containers for only 35.00 shipped. Thats enough for 1 breeding pair, and there babies. (depending on how many eggs she lays)
Sorry, but that shelf isn’t going to work. A cheap shelving system would have to be one made from steel/wood or just plain steel. try kmart.com or sears for geelong shelves. about 30-50.00 a piece. The reason the shelf you want wouldn’t work is because you need to heat up all the tubs. Weather your using heat tape w/ thermostats or UTH’s with thermostats. Your gonna waste your money heating and buy shelves. not to mention i dont know how your even gunna get the heat tape to stay still.
Heat tape and thermostat (i recommend johnsons or helix) can be purchased at reptilebasics.com
They will even connect the heat tape for free.
Breeding is very costly thing but very rewarding experience. When you add up thermostats, tubs, shelfs, heat tape, food/water dishes/incubator/ mealworms (or other feeder). Just my advice, dont rush into. Make sure you have all the equipment first or else your going to be very overwhelmed by 20+ babies.
