this a good ball python tub?
im currently only 17 i have two corn snakes and a bearded dragon so im not new to reptiles but this is the first time vi ever used heat mats and tubs so im about two get two adult ball pythons and i got a tub thats a bit gigger then a 41 qt for each snake aspin bedding two hides and a water bowl and and a heat pad for each tub i got a stand for them and i helux thermistat to conroll the tempurature and 2 digital thermomiters per tub and each with a humididy gaug and a few fake plants in each tub is this good enough ? iv spent a tottal of 515 for everything including the ball pythons that im gunna pick up in a week i just want to make sure that is alright what temp should my hot side be at so i can program it into my thermistat and what should the humidity be
Sounds like you got everything. They need an adv. temperature of 80 – 85, and I keep my humidity at 65, I believe. For the humidity, you can change it to fit your snakes needs. If you got a bad shed, try to add a moist hide. You will know what humidity you pythons need. For programing the hot side, it depends on you room temperature. I will say a basic 90 degrees. As I said before, it all depends on what your snake feels comfortable with, if that makes any sense. Feel the aspen. If is warm to the touch, you should be alright.
