Please help me with the rest of my plot please.?
My Protagonist is a journalist and she is on an assignment on a new luxury cruise ship writing a review about the new ship. Then on the last day when she is at the spa she discovers a dead womans body in a hot tub. The woman happens to be the wife of a powerful wealthy guy. Now I dont know where to go next with the story. Can someone give me some suggestions or something to get me thinking please? I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance! Oh and the main setting for my plot is set in Los Angeles if that helps any.
First of all, most likely there has to be a determination by the coroner if the woman died naturally or if it was a homicide. Since the journalist was the one that discovered the body, she is gonna’ be questioned by the police to ascertain what happened.
Should it be found she was murdered, everyone who had any connection to the deceased is going to be questioned extensively to figure out motive and opportunity.
Without more information, it’s kind of hard to speculate much more, but maybe this will give you some food for thought.
