My gas gauge wont work, what could be wrong with it?
I have an 88 Sundance. I just had a new fuel pump put on it & now the gas gauge wont work. It did work before it was fixed.
The fuel pump and the fuel gauge sending unit are built together in that vehicle, so if the gauge is not working now, you have a defective sending unit or a bad wiring connection. Take it back to the mechanic who replaced the fuel pump and have him repair it. There should be no charge, as it is a problem with the previous repair!!
