will having meftal spas affect my fertility?
i have been having mostly 1 tablet-max 2 every month…
but have been surviving on it for 4 years now.
coz…without that i cant handle my pains.
but was just concerned…will it affect my reproductive health?
i am 21….
started having it when i was 17
For the most part, it’s better to not be on any drugs when you are trying to get pregnant or during the pregnancy, unless otherwise directed by your doctor.
Discuss the side affects of this with you doctor, before you continue.

Use in Pregnancy: Epidemiologic studies in pregnant women with products containing dicyclomine (at doses up to 40 mg/day) have not shown that dicyclomine increases the
risk of fetal abnormalities if administered during the first trimester of pregnancy. There are however no adequate and well controlled studies in pregnant women at the recommended doses (80-160 mg/day). Animal reproduction studies have revealed no evidence of impaired fertility or harm to the fetus due to dicyclomine. Because animal reproduction studies are not always predictive of human response, Bentylol should be used during pregnancy only if required.
