Have others had problems with Mother Board on a spa tub? What can be done?
Hi, We have a spa tub (dimension one-bay collection) that we purchased from a couple we know. They had the tub for about 6 yrs. but RARELY ever used it. They pd. close to $15,000 for the tub. They decided to sell it as it was not used. We have only had it for a couple of months and noticed that the mother board no longer works. Now the couple who had the tub also had this problem and had to replace it. Apparently the tub is no longer under warranty. I know the pump stiull works as I can hear it run for a short bit each day as it is supposed to do. Is there no other way to activate the pump/jets? Whatever happened to the old on/off switch esp. as a back up. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. I know I can contact the co. but I doubt they will offer any help. I cannot find any info in the booklet. Thanks so much
I replaced my circuit board last year. A lot of web research provided me with the cheapest replacement board. If you feel confident enough to replace it yourself then go for it. I would call the company to get a replacement board cost from them. That would give you something to compare other prices to. Good luck
