light intensity difference in 2 tubs of water when one has bubbles on the surface?
if there are two tubs of water, both the same depth, one has air bubbles on the surface and in the other the water is completely still..and sunlight shines onto both of them.. some light is absorbed and some is reflected right? at the bottom of each tub which has the highest light intensity? and in which tub will most light be reflected off the surface of the water?
please help i need to know for some course work!
i think that the bubbles will mix up the light and send it in all directions, therefore, the tub with bubbles will have less light intessity at hte bottom and absorb more light. the bubbles will reflect light all over, water will reflect to one spot.
