What’s the aver. cost of replacing an old gas dryer with a new one, includes steam connect. & new vent replace
The natural gas is already in place. The dryer is an Whirlpool gas/steam dryer. The vent needs to be replaced with a metal one.
The dryer gets it’s water from you filling it up. It has its own water drawer that you the owner must fill by hand. A metal vent pipe is less than 10 dollars. I personally would keep the old dryer going as long as you can. Even if the motor was bad I would get a new motor rather than get a new one. Mark my word, one day you will say why in the world didn’t I just keep my old dryer.
