I have a DownEast jacuzzi and am having problems with the heater. Any ideas?
The jacuzzi is believed to be from the 90′s. The problem I’m having is that the heater will not turn on. The directions left to me from the previous owner say that once the knob is turned to the extreme clockwise position an indicator light will turn on. The only time the indicator light does come on is when the reset button on the side of the heater is pushed and a clicking noise is made from with in the main control box. Once the reset button is released the light immediately shuts off. I’ve flipped the breakers for the jacuzzi and no luck. I’ve heard before that if the pump isn’t pumping a sufficient amount the heater won’t work. On high power the pump has an output of 16 gals per minute. Any ideas would be very helpful since I’ve been working on this problem for days now.
