I have a pool and spa combination. The spa water level gradually declines and falls substantially below where?
The spa/pool is an in-ground type. After a complete filtering cycle, the water level is where it should be about an inch or so above the tile and plaster line. But, after a few hours, the water level drops to 5 to 6 inches below the line.
It sounds like you have a bad gasket on your selector and water is going to the pool or flowing out the backwash line.
Or ..if the system has valves, it may be not closing correctly …dumping water into the pool.
