Are the new baths with lights underneath them any good? I think they have hydro spa features too.?

Note a bath with electrics will need an electrician WHO is part p qualified to connect up the electric connection (its the law).
The more complicated the bath the more lightly you will get a fault in the long term. Plus the spa system has a pump included, this can be noisy if not installed well.
Plus pumps can leak, I would just go with a normal bath.

Prices, you need to take in to consideration of the extra work to install the spa bath, labour is the biggest cost.
If cost is an issue, then don’t bother will the spa / under light bath.
