My spa party for my 14th birthday? Spa recipes?
Hi! So i’m having a spa party for my 14th birthday, and i’m going to invite around 14 people. So my plan is: 3 hours of spa, 2 hours of a movie, 2 hours of gift opening and hanging out and dinner. So for the spa my little stations are:
1. Lounge (Magazines, iPod speakers, refreshments, snacks, beanbags)
2. Mani-Pedis (We’re going to hire people to come)
3. Facials (Masks, steamed towels)
4. Make-Your-Own (My guests can make their own lip gloss, balm, perfume, soap, bath bombs, etc…)
5. Massage (? Maybe.)
So I was just wondering if I could add any more stations, and also for some make-your-own recipes. Thanks!
Grapefruit and parsley are both effective and refreshing astringents, perfect for oily skin.
3 tablespoons very fine oatmeal (whirl oatmeal in a food processor, if necessary)
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
1/2 large grapefruit
olive or sunflower oil
Mix 3 tablespoons of very fine oatmeal with two tablespoons of chopped parsley in a bowl. Add juice from half of a large grapefruit until you have a soft paste. Let the mixture rest 5 minutes. Spread soft mixture over your face and let dry for approximately 15 minutes. Rinse off with warm water. Follow with toner and moisturizer
bath salts great for the face •Epsom Salts (pharmacy)
•Soap fragrance drops (craft store)
•Soap Dye (craft store)
•Zip-loc baggies
•Label stickers and markers
Before you mix the salts have the girls design their own label for their bag. Create an appealing, relaxing name and then decorate the label as well.
Then place 3/4 – 1 cup of Epsom salts into the baggie. Pick a color and
add a few drops of color and scent. Seal the bag and mix it up.
