Help with shower problems?
I have poor mains water pressure and as a result our 10.5kw Triton shower cuts off regularly [on a bad day!] during showering due to low pressure, which is driving me up the wall. We are planning to replace our other bathroom soon and I was wondering how to go about getting two decent showers in the house. One thing that I had thought of was moving our hot water tank to the loft [which I've been told should be possible] and installing two mixer showers but I’m not sure how powerful this will make the showers. I also wondered about installing a pump to work both showers, but I might need to get a bigger tank. Any ideas out there? Our present electric shower is so bad that you have to make sure that there is no one else in the house running water if you want to have the slightest chance of getting a shower! I think our pressure was measured at about 1.2 bar [at the shower point] but I think it drops below this at peak times in the morning. Thanks for reading!!!
Your problem is low water pressure. you can solve this by using a water pump with pressure tank (for water storage at high pressure).
