Do people in the R&S forums actually read the news?

You see, after two days of constant surfing through the R&S forums, I’ve come to the conclusion that the majority of the people asking questions here are brainwashed brats. There are exceptions, but they seem to be few and far in between.
I can’t even tell you how many times I read the question “Is the world ending” just yesterday. It’s as if they’ve got nothing better to do. And they remind me of all of those tabloid readers – they are more aware of what the sensationalist reporters are printing, than of what the real reporters, that concern themselves with REAL problems (fancy that) are bringing.
As for the people that actually read the news – they’re not bothered with the LHC. Heck, I’ve known for over a week that they were going to boost it today, and I can’t say I cared…
