Cleaning hot tub and swimmers itch?
I think my hot tub (large bath tub with jacuzzi jets) is infected with the parasites that cause swimmer’s itch. I got the rash the first time I used the bath after buying the house, and it took me forever to figure out what had happened. I’ve tried cleaning with whirlpool cleaner, soap and water, bathroom cleansers…everything I can think of. Nothing helps. Does anyone know how to get rid of this??

The rash doesn’t happen with my other bathtub or shower, and it IS swimmer’s itch (diagnosed), not just sensitive skin. Thanks 
I think it’s because you have a sensitive skin that trigger an allergic reaction toward certain chemical products. This thing just happen to me too, I just got into a University, so I do swimming practice a lot, a lot more than before. Apparently, the chlorine in the pool water make my skin really dry, so I got some rash. Many people unaware that they have sensitive skin, and most of pool or tub water use chlorine or other chemical products to kill the germs that make your skin really dry that trigger some type of rash.
My doctor’s advise to me was to use lotion every time after showering, and use soap for sensitive skin, so far, only Dove has it.
