Has anyone tried the detox foot soak? Does it work?

I local spa offers a detox foot soak for about $50. It is supposed to pull the toxins from your body through the pours in your feet. I have considered trying it, but i wanted to know what you guys think. is it worth it? if you haven’t tried it, would you be willing to?

Well, my family does a detox bath soak – very cheaply – in our own home. I guess you could just do it for your feet.

We use, for the young children, 1 cup of apple cider vinegar (not white), and 1/2 cup of regular table salt. Soak in it for 15-20 minutes. Increase the amounts for adults.

We use this bath when our children are ill. It has worked to reduce fevers and help recover more quickly. My 12 year old son will ask for this type of bath if he feels “icky.”

We get a thing of salt for under 50 cents and the vinegar is cheap as well. I would do that instead of paying $50.
