Hot tub isn’t heating?
We went without using our hot tub for a while and now when we checked the water it isn’t heated. The digital display of the temperature is acting funky as well. One thing it’s showing is “SLP” does that mean something? But also showing things that don’t even look like letters or numbers. I’m able to get it to show the correct numbers when using “set temp” but it still doesn’t seem to be heating and when pressing “heat mode” nothing happens and the light for heating doesn’t come on either.
SLP means it is in sleep mode. You need to get out your manual and find out how to adjust it to either “EC” for economy mode or “std” fr standarad mode. Standard mode will make the tub heat to whatver temp you set it for. EC mode will only use the heater when it is in the filter mode. So many manufactures use different ways to set your mode. Hence you need to either email me directly with who made your tub or hit your owners manual. Most of the time there is a “mode” button on the upper leeft corner of your topside control. You hit that first then hit the up or down arrow key to change it. It might not have any of those keys and be a pack where you have to change “pin’ placements on the circuit board inside the pack.
