Spa Etiquette?
The sign says: shower off after using the steam room or sauna and the person ignores it and goes into the pool or huttub anyway. Also, a sign saying to wear bathing suits is continously ignored. I’m think it’s disgusting, unhealthy and ignorant of people who ignore the shower off sign and I really don’t care to see others junk hanging out either! I’m not looking on purpose but come on… when people parade around in the buff, showing off, it’s hard not to look! Another example is the b-day suit person, who proudly enters the same pool or hottub you’re in… What’s the “proper” things to do?
First, say something to the offenders. What’s the worst that could happen?
If that doesn’t work…You’ve probably already done this, but complain to management IN WRITING. You are paying to use the facility and expect it to be maintained in the manner specified by the rules and regulations (yada yada yada…)
If management doesn’t start cracking down on the rule-breakers, you could always call the health department. That, or go to a different spa.
