Is it ok to cut down the temperature of a hot tub during the summer and use it as a pool?
Keeping the water circulation going and the temperature cut down. Is this ok for the motor that heats the water when its cold?
Absolutely! I turn my temp down every summer (but I do have to admit that I still keep it warmer than a normal swimming pool). I keep mine in the 90′s. I have been doing this for ten years and it hasn’t affected the operation of the tub at all.
