what is the correct wire and breaker for a shower steam generator?
I’m installing a shower unit for a customer that has a built in steam generator. The unit is from Asia and the instructions are pretty vague. The specs on the steam generator are 3000W/110V/60Hz/27A
Thanks!
For a 30A current draw you should use a 40A breaker. (30/.85=35.2A)
That would require the use of 8 gauge wire.
