If the water in the tub/shower area only stays hot all of the time- won’t adjust- what needs to be fixed?
The faucet is turned on by a lever on the wall. To get the shower a tab on top of the tub faucet is pulled up. The same lever used to turn on the water is used to set the temperature
Is it the kind of shower that has only a single handle to turn the water on?Bc if it is that would be my first guess.
Ok here is how you fix it.At the center of the handle is a decorative cap that can just be popped off with flathead screwdriver or even a butter knife.Inside you will see a screw.Remove the screw and the handle will come right off.Now you should see a round plastic piece with teeth set into a larger plastic piece.The teeth are very fine and it does not take much to adjust it.Now make a mental note of where it is and pull it out and rotate it just a few(4 or 5 ) teeth CLOCKWISE and put it back in..Now put the handle on without the screw and try it.If its not how you want it take it off and move it a few more and try it again..Just keep doind this until you have it the way you want it..Good Luck
