what are disadvantages to putting a spa in the ground?
I got a spa off Craig’s list, it is supposed to be above ground but the skirting was ruined and I can’t afford a deck anyway. I have 4×4′s standing up all around the perimeter and cemented in the ground and 2 1×6′s for the spa to rest on. Pumps are above ground, and tubing is new. Will this work? Am I leaving anything out?
What you have described will work just fine. If you live in a cold climate and you plan on turning off the spa you will need to protect the hoses from freezing.
