Hot Springs Spa Help Please!?
After a recent lightning storm my hot tub quit working. The house breaker nor the outlet or tub/heater reset breakers on the tub were tripped. Opened the box inside and do not see any visible damage either. Its an older hot springs spa probably 1990, just doesn’t do anything! Tried different appliances to the outlet and they all work, WHAT CAN I DO?????????
For you personal safety and protection. I would disable the unit and then call a licensed electrican to come and inspect and repair. This is too dangerous for self repair. It could be a life safety issue.
Then if it is damaged, call you insurance company. They will send an estimator out and help you with repairs and replacement.
