What do you consider low income for these size families?
I’m not talking about poverty level-where people are wondering when they are going to get their next meal. I am doing a project for my small Biz Mang class and I am preparing income thresholds for low-income families.
This is all per month and all income AFTER taxes
Size of family:
1- 1,290.00
2- 1,818.00
3- 2040.00
4- 2405.00
5 2,873.00
Single parents will probably be making less- since those are the ones that hurt the most. My income thresholds will be more for single parents. Two adults living together (married or not) is ALWAYS easier than living alone.
If you think that these income thresholds are way too low-please post it. I don’t want to go too low. I want my customers to be able to purchase a computer for about $200 or
$ 250.00. I don’t want to sell computers for under $150.00-people may think that they are getting junk!
PS. I live in Southern California-in Riverside County. Lower income than those that live in LA. or San Diego area.
They are all low but having 5 kids with 2,873 is stretching it…..kids cost a lot of money.
