I guess I have air in my shower water line’s and need to know how to “clear the air” so to speak!!!
I had been having problem’s w/a leak so a friend of mine bypassed the water flowing into the tub and made it to only run up into and out of the shower massage. about a week later our landlord’s turned our water off for two day’s in a row for some repair work and ever since then each time we try to shower the water comes out hot or cold and makes a horrible noise…the only way to make it stop is to spray it like a garden hose with a finger over the end…what a pain, any help, please!!!! thanks for ANY help
I think you have to ‘bleed’ the pipes. It is done on the hot water heater, it has a special valve where you connect a hose and run the water.
I think it can be done on the main water line too.
But if you don’t know much about plunbing, leave the work to someone who does.
I found a book in the library from Black and Decker (the company) It has picture instructions on how to do very many household repairs and maintenance.
