How do I clean out a hotel jacuzzi safely?
I will be renting out a hotel room with a whirlpool hot tub inside but I want to clean it out! not just the tub the the jets too! I want to be romantic but i shutter at the thought of somebody else’s dirt and gods know what shooting out into my bath water! yuk yuk! I want to fill the tub and pour some type of cleaner or bleach into the water and run the jets for 10 minutes and then rinse out the water wit the cleaner and refill fill it with plain hot water and run the jets again for another 10 minutes and rinse it out. Is that a safe way to clean out the jets? what kinda of cleaner do i use? how many times should i rinse before using it? i want it to be clean but i dont wanna wash up in cleaner either. so how do i safely disinfected a “public” jacuzzi?!

The best way is to clean after every use. Its an easy process. Just fill with cold water to just above the jets and let the jets run for ten minutes which will flush out any residue.
Every couple of months take your regular cleaner that you use around the house and fill the tub with hot water then adding the cleaner, half cup of bleach, and two tablespoons of dishwasher detergent. Let run for fifteen minutes with the air control completely open.
Drain after fifteen minutes then refill with cold water and let run for another ten minutes. There are also products on the market that are designed to clean your spa jets. If you prefer you can buy one of these products to use. It does keep things simple.
