Gaming computer on a budget?
I’m on a budget of approximately $1500, with the possibility of going maybe up to $1750. I play MMOs (with HIGHER requirements than WoW just for reference) so I need a computer capable of running these games without problem.
I know desktops are cheaper but a laptop that could cover the same needs under the same budget would be great as I’m going to college.
I guess I need help in general with this. Good sites to order computers from, either mass produced or custom, and if I go custom what parts would be essential for gaming?
P.S. I know there are other topics like this but it seems like they’re all outdated or not applying to America. Also, I don’t need any video-editing stuff or artsy stuff. I strictly use computers for homework, games, music, and -just watching- movies
Hello 2years ago i bought my laptop for 1500dollars including tax.

I ordered it on line and when i picked a laptop it allowed me to customize the parts that i want!
I use my laptop for gaming and i mostly play Guild wars.
This laptop i got from sony is pretty good runs wow @ full setting. However battery only lasts for 20minutes. and system overheats and it burns my skin when i touch it.
I recommend that you get Alien ware laptop for GAMING.
I regret so hard not getting laptop from Alien ware. With 1500dollars you’ll be able to get a good gaming laptop.
Coolers that are inside of alien ware is so awesome it’s so BIG that it cools the system like nothing and i bet battery life will be better than 30minutes because it’s built for gaming.
People will say Alien ware is expensive etc etc. but it’s worth it.
Or you can try Dell gaming laptop it has the style and it performs well from what i heard.
