I’ve put a 28″ LCD outside above our hot tub. Having a protective Plexi box built for it. Ideas.?
Looking for ideas to prevent destroying the TV. I plan to bring it inside in freezing temperatures, but leave it outside with some type of cover to protect from direct sunlight during the day the rest of the time. Has anyone else done this with a plasma or lcd screen? Thanks.
I think this is going to be difficult to do unless you buy one made for outdoor applications. Barring that I think you would need to make a box that seals up air tight but can be opened and allow ventilation when the TV is being viewed. My biggest concern would be condensation. I can see you going out there on a dewy morning, hitting the power button, and out goes the magic smoke.
