why dose my baseboard heater make noises?
Humming sound just before zone valve closes when room temp has been satisfied. Two zone system flo switch , purge tank, old boiler with two 240v elements
You are not giving it the proper dose of electricity to keep it silent. Each element is 110 to 120 volts, so dose it down a bit or you will burn it up, and maybe the house with it.
