I need help convincing my parents..?
so about 2 years ago my parents bought this really cool mural for me at pbteen. it covers up my entire wall its of a hammock at the beach. it didnt look as good as online and i dont really like it, it looks weird. i told my parents i loved it tho cause they worked really hard to put it up and it was 300$. i want to take it down now and put up a full length mirror and pictures because that will look better. but they probably wont let me since it was so expincive and its not been up very long. i mentioned taking it down
once and my mom freaked she was like absolutly not that thing has not gotten its 300$ worth yet. so how can i convinve my parents to take it down and get a full length mirror for me?
You;re best bet is to wait alittle since you just asked your mom and she got mad, then casually bring it up again and tell her how you feel. & if you dont want to hurt her feelings, then just deal with it… ALSO if she says no when you ask then just wait alittle and act like you like it still and you feel bad about asking to take it down, or be kinda bummed and be like oh… mom its been 2 years im getting older and i kinda out grew that mural.. I want a mirror and pictures..etc. (:
