Question about hair dye…?
I have light brown hair with a gold tone. It’s very very long and I love it. I used some temporary auburn hair dye for a little temporary change. A month later it was still in there, so I bought a box of permanent hair color that matched my natural color. I used it and my hair was still red!
I decided it was time to see a professional, so I went to a hair salon today (nothing fancy, just a strip-mall joint) and she said she could get the red out, and leave it a brown color. I figured that would be better so we went ahead and did it.
Well, it’s still red. The red is actually even MORE pronounced now.
Should I go to a fancy salon/spa where they might have more experience, or should I just let it be and hope it eventually fades?
I don’t want to fry my hair if it’s not necessary, but I want my color back!!
No, first you have to go back were you had it done and get your money back. Second you need to go to JCPenney they are great there and they can tell you what they can do to get the red out. Hope all goes well.
