Winter allergies?
I have suffered from chronic voice loss that usually last all winter long, this is accompanied by a tightness in the throat muscles, severe dryness in the mouth and throat at night, coughing up very sticky dry matter that has the texture of undercooked pasta. And a loss of hearing seem to accompany these symptoms as well.
I have had an MRI as well as having my sinuses and throat checked with a scope by a ENT specialist. I am sleeping with a vaporizer, drinking lots of water and NOT running a heater in the home or car. My next appointment is with an allergy specialist, but so far no one has diagnosed me with anything abnormal. The raspy or lack of voice is a very big issue for me as I am singer/entertainer. Desperate for any advice on what could be wrong!

The first thing you need to do is GET RID OF THE VAPORIZER. Use a humidifier instead and keep the filter clean. Switch out your cleaning and laundry products to all natural ones. The ones you probably use are mostly registered pesticides. Take the old products to your nearest toxic waste recycling place as it is ILLEGAL to throw these out in your regular trash. Once you get rid the old products clean your house from top to bottom with the new non toxic products including shampooing the carpet and furniture. Wash all your clothes and bedding in the non toxic laundry products. Use an air purifier in several rooms of your house and add a drop of tea tree oil to your humidifier every day. Use Guaifenisen aka Mucinex at bedtime for about a week to see if that helps too.
