Leaking Jacuzzi Tub???
I just purchased a Jacuzzi whirlpool tub. The water test showed a dripping leak in the bottom corner. I have waited almost 4 weeks for someone to repair it and this plus an uncooperative attitude by Jacuzzi customer service has prompted me to do the repair myself even though the tub is under warrantee. It seems to be a simple thing to do.Question is: the body is made of fiber glass. Is there a certain kind of caulk I should use? Please help me. Our renovation is at a standstill until this is resolved! The authorized Jacuzzi service people in my area simply are unresponsive! Next time its American Standard for me!
Go up on Jacuzzi web site and lodge your complaint about their service and be sure to tell them that you’re bad mouthing them and their products to everyone you come in contact with. Surprising how fast and how much service you get when you do that. A study by IBM years ago showed that most people don’t complain. They just tell a lot of friends who tell more people who tell even more. Snow ball effect when companies don’t take care of their customers.
