help finding name of electrical component?
it looks like a 2inch by 1inch ceramic plate when you put dc (or ac not sure) to one wire the top side gets cooled when applying voltage to the other the topside get hot and bot em side gets cold.
ive had a guy had me one and talk about all the craziness hes doing with it. and i ran across one in a catalog and i cant remember wich one or the name (it was in a 2nd hand component resaler company small catalog and what cheep paper with yellow graphics and black only print? if that helps, if you say it id know the name)
any help would be great ive had this on my mind for months
It’s called a Peltier effect device. You apply DC and one side gets cold while the other side gets hot. Some might call it a “thermoelectric cooler”.
Do an eBay search on “Thermoelectric Cooler” and you will find a bunch of them for sale.
