Anyone know how to get around the automatic detection of expired test strips with the Accu-Chek Aviva?
My Accu-Chek Aviva test strips are expiring in a couple of weeks and I’m wondering if anyone has found a way around the automatic detection of expired strips. They are so expensive, I just hate to throw them away.
It will give you a warning that the strips have expired but the strips should still work but the readings may not be accurate. I’ve used expired strips before … although they were just a couple of days old…
