I am starting to clean a lady’s house for her and don’t know how to charge.Any suggestions?
This will include: every other week, changing sheets and making one king size bed, cleaning a master bath with spa tub and walk in shower and 2 other bathrooms, kitchen, dining, floors and dusting everything including ceiling fans. This is a 3bd 3ba house with a large living room and den.
I’d figure out how long you think it will take and then I’d also check local ads either in newspapers or posted in local stores to see what others are charging to clean houses. Is there a Merry Maids in town? If so, I find they are always more money than independents but would give you an idea of the high side.
I prefer being quoted an hourly rate and being told this will take 3 hours or 4 hours.
