Turn off auto accessories for longer battery life?
Is turning off accessories in your auto advisable when done driving? Does it increase your battery life? I am speaking of things like the heater, air conditioning, radio, etc.
I was under the impression that it was not necessary to do so because that’s what your alternator is supposed to do (put power back into your battery). Just curious.
your battery is constantly charged. You have so much current going throughout the car such as the computer, gauges, etc. Battery life depends on how well built the battery was made. nothing last forever.
