Is it possible to develop symptomps of trichomoniasis 9 months after having intercourse?
I was diagnosed with trichomoniasis today.
Last time I had sex was 9 months ago with a guy who claimed he was virgin. Beside this we did not have any skin to skin contact and were using condoms. The only “contact” we had was trough underwear…and eventually if got wet from our precum, but no direct skin to skin contact.
Before this boyfreind, I was only with an other guy, and that was 3 years from now. When having sex we did not use condom since I was on pills then.
It is possible that I was infected with trich for 9 months or 3 year and had no symptoms? Or could it be that I got it somehow in the doorms or in the pool? (I have found sources that one can rarelly get it trought hot tubs ad stif like that).
I would like to get replies of professionals in the first place.
it is possible. I had the same thing happen to me. It took about eight months for the symptoms to become severe enough for me to go to the doc.
