I have clogged toilet and also bath tub. Should I hire a plummer or can i do it with an auger?
I have a clogged toilet and also bath tub. I am thinking it goes through the same pipe. I used liquid and nothing. They suggested for me to use an auger but I am wondering if this is too short for the problem. Also, they recommended a snake but they told me I need to remove the toilet since it might break the toilet. I want to make this as easy as possible without spending too much money. My last resource is get a plummer but gosh they are pricey. Anyone with any suggestions and tips?

What may be the trouble is less likely to be a drain problem, than a vent problem. Check the link below to see how most tubs & toilets share a vent stack, and how a clog *UP* there can cause the problem you are describing. Bird’s nests and such are a prime culprit.
