Can a girl from a large city have a relationship with a guy who was raised on the mountain in a rural area?
I deal with the toilet seat left up, not washing his hands after using the restroom passing gas in front of me and others because “it’s a natural function” and wiping his greasy pizza hands into the front of his clothes. He thinks nothing of using the kitchen towel not to “dry” his hands but to wipe any food or grease into it. How do you like to walk into the bathroom unto the fluffy rug in your bare feet just to step into a soaked rug because he didn’t dry off in the tub before coming out. Finding out he doesn’t feel he needs to floss because his last check up turned out great. He chews his nails off even though I bought him nail clippers. He says he needs time to learn manners and etiquette but I don’t think it takes 2 years and he says he’s who he is but I don’t think that’s a good reason not to want to become a better person and learn how to behave in a not so disgusting manner; chewing with his mouth open and resting his head on his hand with his fingers almost up his nose.
If both of you are open to learn and accept each other, it is possible. Don’t expect him to change. If you accept him the way he is, then fine. If not, let him go.
