does medicare cover spa or hot tubs?
i need to find a spa or hot tub covered by medicare because i have chronic pain and fibromyalgia
Medicare won’t pay for spas or hot tubs. Even if your doctor gave you a certificate of medical necessity, Medicare won’t cover it. You can call 1-800 MEDICARE or your local medical equipment supply company to see if Medicare might cover it for you. Medicare does pay for some types of physical and occupational therapy.
I also have fibromyalgia and chronic pain, so good luck and good health to you.
