Steam showers, any experience?
I am looking to build a steam shower. There are some good steam generators, then you build the enclosure. You need a special door, special controller.
On the other hand there are a bunch of all-in-one enclosures. They have a whirlpool tub, shower heads, steam door, etc. However I can’t find a single review of these. Has anyone actually used these? Do they actually generate enough steam for a spa type of steam? Are they nice? It would be soooooo much easier, and cheaper for that matter.

the pre fab units i have installed have steam mist brand generators and i have never had trouble with any of them. but i have seen pre fabs where the generators was to small for the area according to most non pre fab specs i have not used them for that reason Custom is always a nice look and you have more options as far as seating room like for more than one person and shower heads how you want them. if your going to go with a pre fab i would find the square footage and the size generator they use for it then call a supply company and ask them what size generator for a custom built unitof the same size will help you know it will be big enough. like i said steam mist has been good to me they woork great fast acting and dam there sweet. b.t.w. good idea to install bigger exaust fan in room or bath it will be in they can add alot of moister to the room there in
