Cal Spa hot tub wont heat?
We have a 98 cal spa 7-8 person hot tub and it wont heat up. We havent used it for a few years due to a leak, so yesterday we cleaned it fixed the leak filled it up and turned it on.
We left it to heat up over night and the water went from 62 degrees to 65 degrees over the last 24 hours, but that could have been to the natural weather heating it up some what.
The jets work fine, the hot tub is circulating, the panel works, and the heat light is on, but its not heating.
I have tried changing the filter circulation from 2 all the way up to 8 and that hasnt worked either. I just took the filters out to see if that has any impact.
If that doesn’t work are there any other suggestions or tips to try?
Your heating element is probably burnt out. You need to get a parts manual or get a repairmen to replace this item. Have you check Google for the manufacturers website? If not then check the web links listed below and see which one is your model.
