Is it easier to stay at a lighter weight in a warmer climate?
i remember when i lived in FL i was always a bit on the skinny side, when i moved up north i started gaining weight and nothing really changed besides the climate and that ive been getting older – i probably gained 60-70 lbs since i moved up north and i didnt get that much taller so i know im overweight (when i was in FL i was 15 and weighed 160 and was probably 5`6 – 5`8, now im 20 years old 5`10 and weigh 220-230 lbs). i take hot baths to sweat, do you think sweating makes it easier to maintain/lose weight, or is the weight gain a coincidence since i moved?
If you do not have a disease that causes weight changes and are in reasonable good health, then gaining or loosing weight has to do with activity level on a routine basis. In other words, you have to have a solid excersise plan no matter what your climate is. What you eat and when plays into weight changes. Sweating is only water weight and if you intentionally sweat it off in the bath then when you get out you really should drink a lot of water to replace it for your healths sake. I grew up in dry Phoenix, lived in south Bend for 30 years, and retired to Florida. Everything I have ever done to gain or loose weight has had to do with healthy[or not] life style and consistancy. you have to have lots of WATER no matter what. You are only 20 and not real tall. You should be at one of the best times in your life to control this and keep it off. Another tip Don’t lie to yourself about your food,carbs, or excersise. Do you have depression?
